RelHuman personalities are AI
Every personality on RelHuman — Maya, Ethan, Claire, Marcus, and any you create — is an AI system. They are not real people. They do not have lives outside of your conversations. They are designed to feel natural and engaging, but they are always artificial intelligence.
We will never try to deceive you
RelHuman is designed to feel lifelike, not to trick you. We will never instruct a RelHuman personality to claim it is human if you sincerely ask. Transparency is a core design principle, not an afterthought.
How the technology works
RelHuman personalities are powered by large language models (LLMs) that generate natural conversation. Voice features use text-to-speech synthesis. Visual features use AI-generated imagery. Memory features store and retrieve information from your past conversations to create continuity.
Limitations
AI personalities have real limitations. They can make mistakes, misunderstand context, or produce responses that feel off. They do not have genuine emotions, consciousness, or lived experience. We encourage you to engage with RelHuman as a meaningful tool for connection and conversation — while keeping these limitations in mind.
